Tone Software introduces ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool for Cisco UCM

Tone Software Corporation, a provider of unified communications monitoring and management software for converged telecommunications and IT infrastructures, has announced the availability of its ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool, a solution to manage the quality of voice services within the Cisco UCM VoIP environment, as well as the Microsoft Lync UC environment.
The ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool provides organizations with a downloadable solution that helps operational teams gain immediate visibility into the quality of their Cisco UCM and Microsoft Lync voice services, including QoS alarming and dynamic QoS management dashboard views, the company said.
"A strategic core competency of ReliaTel is multi-platform management across many VoIP and UC technologies, and the new ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool leverages this strength to provide support for both Cisco UCM and Microsoft Lync in one free downloadable solution," stated Amit Kapoor, director of strategic technology for Tone. "Through the ReliaTel QoS download portal, you can quickly and easily deploy real-time VoIP QoS monitoring for Cisco UCM, Microsoft Lync, or both, depending on your environment and needs," he added.
To download Tone's ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool, users visit the download page to register for the free tool. A confirmation email is then sent to the user with credentials to access the ReliaTel VoIP QoS Monitoring portal, where they can immediately configure their Cisco and/or Lync alarming and dashboard preferences, based on their specific environment. Once configured, the ReliaTel free tool provides users with views of Cisco and Lync quality issues based on true user experience and actual call quality statistics, as well as dynamic QoS dashboards to help pinpoint the root cause of developing and historical Cisco UCM and Lync voice quality problems, the company added.
