Courion Invests in the Expansion of its Go-To-Market Partner Program with Addition of Industry Veteran
WESTBOROUGH, Mass. --(Business Wire)--
Courion
Corporation, the leader in risk-driven identity and access
management (IAM), today announced it is significantly expanding its
Global Alliances program around the world and adding an industry veteran
to set the direction and execution.
Mike Parise has joined Courion (News - Alert) as vice president of global alliances,
responsible for developing the company's strategy for expanding its
global sales and delivery capacity by leveraging strategic integrators,
resellers, VARs and MSPs.
"We're thrilled to have Mike join what has been a very successful team
as we continue to expand our partner presence worldwide," said
Christopher Zannetos, president and CEO of Courion. "As the identity and
access management market continues to evolve, Courion will look to our
network of partners to help bring Courion's solutions to more customers
who seek to efficiently meet their security and compliance challenges
with advanced technology solutions such as access intelligence."
Mike is a high-tech veteran demonstrating success in alliances,
marketing and sales. Prior to joining Courion, he was senior vice
president of sales and marketing for eFashionsSolutions, a leading
provider of e-commerce services and senior vice president, esktop
products sales group, at Parametric Technologies Corporation (PTC), one
of the world's largest product lifecycle management companies. Mike has
also held global executive positions with Diligent Technologies
(acquired by IBM (News - Alert)), EMC and Data General. He has frequently presented at
industry events and earned his bachelor's degree from the College of the
Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
"Courion has an exceptional record in establishing technology
partnerships to complement and enhance its product offerings," Parise
said. "We now see a significant opportunity to grow our market share
through indirect channels to meet the global demand for our Enterprise
IAM solutions. Now more than ever, as organizations struggle to ensure
that only the right people have the right access to the right enterprise
systems and are doing the right things with that access, we see new
partners emerging with a desire to work with a vendor that is delivering
real customer success while taking advantage of the emergence of
Identity and Access Intelligence (News - Alert) (IAI), the next wave of Identity and
Access Management."
Parise expects the Courion program to provide the steps and assistance
necessary to get partners to independent service delivery while greatly
expanding Courion's international presence.
