Allegiance Names Dana Russell as Chief Financial Officer
SALT LAKE CITY --(Business Wire)--
Allegiance,
a provider of VOCi
(Voice of Customer Intelligence) technology and services, today
announced that Dana Russell has been appointed chief financial officer
(CFO). In this position, Russell will be responsible for all operational
functions at Allegiance (News - Alert), including human resources, facilities, sales
operations, finance and accounting.
Russell brings a proven combination of strong strategic, financial and
management skills to Allegiance. Russell was formerly the senior vice
president and chief financial officer at Novell (News - Alert), a global publicly
traded software company. He helped lead the definitive merger agreement
between Novell and Attachmate valued at $2.2 billion and a business and
patent cooperation agreement with Microsoft (News - Alert) valued at over $450 million.
"Dana has a reputation for working through complex situations and
completing difficult transactions," said Carine Clark, president and CEO

Prior to his tenure as CFO at Novell, Russell held other senior finance

masters degree in accounting from Weber State University.
