SolvePath Transforms Enterprise Q&A Space With Natural Language Processing and Big Data Technologies
PALO ALTO, CA, Jan 22, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
Senexx, Inc. today announced the availability of SolvePath, a
breakthrough enterprise questions and answers (Q&A) collaboration
platform that empowers businesses to provide their employees with
fast, easy access to critical knowledge and expertise within their
organization. SolvePath is a cloud-based solution that helps
eliminate the obstacle of finding a subject matter expert or the
right piece of information hidden within the massive volumes of "big
data" that exist in today's corporate enterprises. Unlike existing
Social Business Software (SBS) systems that force users to spend time
going through videos, files and other content to find the answers to
specific questions, SolvePath uses advanced Natural Language
Processing and machine learning algorithms to provide a targeted
solution to the information consumption problem.
About 80% of valuable information in an enterprise is unstructured
data like emails and files. Research shows that corporate employees
spend up to 20 percent of their workday searching for information,
and consume nearly 30 percent of their time reading, writing and
responding to emails.
SolvePath helps companies improve employee productivity and job
performance by accelerating and simplifying access to internal
corporate knowledge. It enables users to ask questions in natural
language, explore topics and find experts directly from their
organizations' existing email, instant messaging or internal social
networks. In addition, SolvePath also integrates with popular social
business networks such as Yammer(TM), with whom they have a
technology partnership, and LinkedInCopyright. Senexx also offers
custom integrations with other leading CRM, knowledge management and
social business software platforms to help companies build on the
investments of these systems.
"In many organizations, finding a specific piece of internal
information or even a subject matter expert can be a slow and
frustrating experience. On the public web, there are tools like Quora
that can answer users' questions, but that hasn't been the case for
internal corporate systems," said Zeevi Michel, CEO and co-founder of
Senexx. "With SolvePath, corporate employees now have a powerful and
accurate tool for answering their questions and finding experts so
they can perform their jobs more efficiently and effectively."
Natural language processing and text analytics
SolvePath's semantic
search and text analysis capabilities allow users to ask questions in
a natural style, without the syntax limitations or overly broad
results of a typical keyword search. Knowledge-routing algorithms
find the most reliable answer for each question and immediately
notify internal experts that can provide further guidance on specific
topics. SolvePath automatically tags questions and answers, updates
internal expert rankings, and can quickly update expert profiles by
connecting to LinkedIn and Yammer profiles. The result is an
easy-to-use solution that provides immediate business benefits across
a wide range of corporate functions such as sales, pre-sales,
customer support, professional services and more.
"With a large part of the average workday taken up with research and
answering emails, increasing actual productivity that impacts
on-the-job results is a major achievement," said Brad Shimmins,
Analyst for Current Analysis. "An internal Q&A collaboration platform
like SolvePath that not only leverages unstructured data to enhance
the user experience, but that can also integrate with other
collaboration tools could result in significant productivity
gains."
