viaNetwork™ Partners with NBIA to Become Exclusive Visibility Tool for Entrepreneurs in 60+ Countries
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --(Business Wire)--
The viaNetwork
announced today that it has partnered with the National Business
Incubation Association to provide its video-driven SaaS (News - Alert) solution to
client companies and members in over 60 countries. The Cambridge startup
has been busy attracting and promoting talent and entrepreneurs
throughout Boston's innovation community since the launch of its
visibility tool in August. The company's software - viaRésumé - helps
emerging talent and their companies self-promote via various video
technologies and professional media outlets. From executive addresses to
elevator pitches and testimonials, the viaNetwork is helping
entrepreneurs connect with investors and other resources through short
video presentations.
NBIA's
director of business development, Sheila Buckley, commented on the news:
"We are very excited for this promising partnership with a company who
truly understands technology's role in the plight of entrepreneurs. The
NBIA is proud to offer viaNetwork's services and support to our client
companies and members."
NBIA encourages business entrepreneurship by supporting over 2,200
incubators and accelerators around the US and internationally. NBIA's
incubators support 30,000 startups in over 60 countries. The
viaNetwork's solution provides incubation managers with a video CRM to
remotely screen, track, and communicate with client companies.
"This is a tremendous tool for entrepreneurs seeking access to resources
that may not be available locally. The team's vision for a better
ecosystem is helping cut through geographically-binding barriers and
allowing for the most relevant connections to be made," stated Dr.
Martha Farmer of North Shore InnoVentures.
The viaNetwork recently opened its second office in the Seaport district
of Boston, giving ample opportunity and access to a burgeoning enclave
of entrepreneurs outside of Cambridge. Its model currently grants
preferential access to tiered investors who subscribe to their services.
