Ellie Mae Names Software Marketing Veteran Susan Chenoweth Scarth as Senior Vice President of Marketing
PLEASANTON, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Ellie Mae® (NYSE: ELLI), a leading provider of enterprise level,
on-demand automated solutions for the residential mortgage industry,
today announced that Susan Chenoweth Scarth, a veteran marketer at a
number of high-growth software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) companies, has joined
the Company as senior vice president of marketing.
In this role, Scarth will oversee the development and execution of the
Company's marketing, branding, communications and client acquisition
strategies and will report to Jonathan Corr, chief operating officer of
Ellie Mae.
Scarth has held executive global marketing positions at leading-edge
software companies, including Jigsaw/Salesforce.com (News - Alert), an online business
directory; Taleo, a leading provider of SaaS Talent Management
solutions; and Commerce One, a leading provider of B2B e-commerce
solutions. Scarth was also director of North American field marketing at
Netscape. She began her career in marketing at Microsoft and prior to
that was in sales at IBM (News - Alert) where she sold to financial institutions.
Scarth holds a bachelor'sdegree in business economics from University
of California, Santa Barbara and completed the Executive Program for
Growing Companies at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
