GreenWizard and International Code Council Launch Partnership
Nov 16, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
GreenWizard announced that it has partnered with The International Code Council (ICC) and its evaluation services, ICC-ES.
With this partnership, GreenWizard and ICC will work together with the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) - a model code that includes sustainability measures for the entire construction project - to make buildings more efficient, reduce waste, and have a positive impact on health, safety, and community welfare.
According to the company, GreenWizard will now work with ICC to create a web-based Product Management Workflow to deliver relevant building product information, data, and documentation as it relates to IgCC, and to help drive adoption of IgCC's code-based green building standards. GreenWizard will also immediately start to develop software tools to make IgCC compliance easier for practitioners in the field and to streamline compliance verification for building code officials. One immediate result of this partnership will be reduction in the time and costs associated with the research, evaluation, documentation and submission of data, documents, and research associated with IgCC compliance.
"Through this partnership, GreenWizard will work to made adoption of IgCC by various state and municipal jurisdictions easier and more cost-efficient, which will widely advance the cause of green building, an important goal of both GreenWizard and ICC," said GreenWizard's CEO Adam Bernholz.
The International Code Council is a member-focused association.
Now a LEED Automation (a.k.a. App Lab) partner, GreenWizard is a Product Management Workflow and project collaboration software platform.
