BEDFORD, MA, Nov 15, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Acme Packet(R) (NASDAQ: APKT), the leader in session delivery networks, today announced that MetroPCS, a leading wireless communications service provider, has deployed Acme Packet's Net-Net(R) Session Director to support the world's first commercially available Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service launched in August 2012, as well as MetroPCS' recent launch of Rich Communication Services (RCS).

The product also provides load balancing and quality of service policy management features that allow operators to ensure high service quality.
