After Yesterday's Decline of 1.98%, International Business Machines Offers Investors Better Value

Nov 07, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $191.17 to a high of $193.68. Yesterday, the shares fell 2.0%, which took the trading range below the 3-day low of $192.01 on volume of 4.3 million shares. Often times after large one-day declines, short-term traders may play for some degree of mean revision.


International Business Machines share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $211.79 and a 52-week low of $177.06 and are now trading 8% above that low price at $191.20 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has remained constant while the 200-day MA has remained constant.
