By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor
Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. has included IBM Interactive in the top position in its report, Magic Quadrant for Digital Marketing Agencies. IBM Interactive was evaluated on the basis of comprehensiveness of vision and implementation capability, and subsequently positioned in the Leaders Quadrant.
Gartner notes that a wide-ranging illustration of all competencies, ranging from competencies in strategic services and technology, to experience design and advertising, are showcased by all the best organizations in this market.
According to Gartner, these organizations have moved ahead from the producer mold and are ensuring the employment of PMI-certified professionals for improving program management proficiency. These organizations are able to steer course for the market with their considerable investments in research and development.
Depending on resources available at the clients’ locations, major organizations in this segment are able to garner resources across the globe. And in spite of a slowdown in global economy, these organizations have managed to sustain themselves. They’re often known as crossover organizations, as they normally bid for projects outside their main arenas.
Chief marketing officers (CMO) associated with these organizations are able to develop revolutionary digital marketing platforms.
Better-quality customer experiences across mobile, Internet and social channels are developed by IBM (News - Alert) Interactive, a major group inside IBM with a focus on digital marketing services. With an augmented use of digital technologies, an increasing number of businesses are not able to utilize technology in an effective manner for communicating with audiences.
Businesses can now resolve these requirements with assistance from IBM, which uses a customer-focused approach to engagement for offering enhanced consumer experiences.
In a statement, Adam Klaber, managing partner of New Markets, IBM Global Business Services said, "In a world in which information becomes the basis of important decisions, it is critical for businesses to use data to deliver differentiated services. IBM is helping CMOs and CIOs collaborate in unifying their online and offline strategies."
IBM recently unveiled services to assist CMOs and CIOs in developing and expanding their digital marketing presence. The software giant is therefore helping businesses generate a higher number of customized interactions through this effort.
Gartner has also included IBM Global Business Services as Leader in "Magic Quadrant for CRM Service Providers, Worldwide."
