Primerica Implements IBM Social Business Solutions

Primerica recently announced that it has chosen IBM’s (News - Alert) social business software for enhancing customer experience. A minimum of 90,000 independent sales representatives of Primerica will now associate with the nearly 2.3 million policy owners using the IBM social business software. The software will also assist the sales representatives to forge new relationships in real-time.
IBM will be assisting Primerica in its objective of achieving social business renovation. Primerica aims to implement the social business practices through the software, thereby enhancing customer care and insight. The software implementation will ensure Primerica has a competitive advantage to stay ahead in the financial services industry.
In a release, David Wade, chief information officer at Primerica said, "Working with IBM, we will be in a position to capitalize on our growing representative and client base, helping to ensure our representatives can deliver value to our clients no matter where they're located. Becoming a Social Business will enable us to respond to client needs immediately, find help and leverage expertise to solve problems, share knowledge, and ensure our clients have positive, personal interactions with our people and our company culture."
Primerica has developed a social business offering based on IBM software, Primerica Online. The website currently offers details related to sales, commission data, production reports, compliance necessities and earning statements along with multimedia presentations, and motivational messages.
Members can now concentrate on developing web-based communities, and sharing information actively due the incorporation of Primerica Online with the latest IBM social business solutions.
IBM social business software comprising of the IBM Customer Experience Suite, IBM Connections enterprise social networking software and Cognos (News - Alert) Business Intelligence analytics software is now utilized by Primerica Online. The solution can be utilized by Primerica’s independent sales representatives and employees for relevant information, which can be rapidly accessed, analyzed and shared with customers.
Employees at Primerica will be able to monitor projects right up to the conclusion with IBM Rational Jazz. In order to ensure compliance, e-mails will be collected and retained at Primerica with the implementation of e-mail eDiscovery. IBM Content Manager is currently being utilized by Primerica for improved management of documents.
