GMC Inspire Solution Validated with IBM's DB2 Database Software

Thanks to this, GMC Software's clients can now use IBM DB2 database software to provide superior performance and compression savings, thus enabling them to drive a higher degree of value from core banking systems.
GMC Inspire is an end-to-end software solution for Customer Communications Management (CCM (News - Alert)) designed to help businesses increase customer engagement. The solution helps businesses streamline and advance customer communications for increased efficiency and revenue growth while also enhancing the customer experience.
"Financial services clients can now use GMC's customer communications management technology within IBM's banking framework to streamline data management and boost application performance," said Boris Bialek, director of information management technology ecosystem, IBM, in a statement.
Bialek said that as a result, enterprises gain an integrated solution that can help drive more value from their information assets.
Officials with GMC said that the company’s international list of leading clients can now benefit from the improved reliability, security and ease of use offered by DB2.
"Our recent advancements with IBM demonstrates our commitment to providing superior solutions such as GMC Inspire that help clients remain agile with changing market needs", said Michael Watts, chief operating officer at GMC Software Technology.
Watts said that the superior performance and compression savings attained from DB2 technology will further increase agility and efficiency gains for end-user clients.
Company officials pointed out that GMC Software Technology has also achieved IBM Premier Business Partner status.
IBM awards premier status to partners that have demonstrated superior skills and market success and actively collaborate with IBM to deliver significant client value through innovative solutions.
Besides this, GMC Software Technology has recently achieved the "IBM Banking Industry Framework Validation".
The IBM Banking Industry Framework combines IBM software with banking-specific software extensions, solution accelerators and best practices. Selected business partner products are designed, tested and validated for ease of use and compatibility.
According to company officials, having achieved this validation within the banking framework, GMC Inspire allows easy integration with core banking systems, faster deployment and flexibility for future growth.
