CORE Security and IBM's Q1 Labs to Enhance Critical Security Infrastructure for Joint Customers
By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor
Matt Ward, Senior Product Manager at Q1 Labs, an IBM company, said, "This partnership creates a solutions-oriented approach at the engineering, support and product level between us and companies like CORE Security to share information and provide unsurpassed visibility into critical security infrastructure for the benefit of our joint customers.”
CORE Insight can be highly effective in predicting IT security threats, and in supporting advanced threat simulation. It also offers customers essential asset and risk validation information. By joining the Q1 Security Intelligence Partner Program, the advanced capabilities of CORE Insight will be merged with IBM's QRadar Security Intelligence Platform. The integration will enable pre-release update of events and drive collaboration of intelligence data between CORE Security and Security Systems from IBM.
The SIPP certification process requires collaborative testing which will help in ensuring a higher level of interoperability of CORE Security predictive security intelligence solutions with the QRadar Security Intelligence Platform.
Joe Schramm, Director of Partner Marketing and Enablement, CORE Security, said, "Joining IBM's Security Intelligence Partner Program confirms our commitment to our customers by not only providing a new level of predictive and security intelligence but also the ability to communicate risk effectively and in a way that matters to the business.”
The predictive intelligence platform of Core Security has been designed for predicting risk, and to gain greater visibility into a company’s security infrastructure allowing them to make critical business continuity decisions.
The QRadar Security Intelligence Platform mergers functions such as SIEM, risk management and log management, analysis of network behavior and security event management into a single security intelligence solution. By leveraging QRadar, customers gain increased insight into networks, data centers, users, and applications enabling them to strengthen security of IT assets while also addressing critical regulatory standards.
